Can I Change my Office Chat plan anytime?

Yes, Office Chat allows you to change/update your Office Chat plans to Enterprise, Business or Startup plan at any point in time.

In order to change your Office Chat Plan, take a look at the following steps:

  1. Use a web browser to log into your Office Chat domain.
  2. Navigate to the admin portal
  3. Click on the “Billing” from the left navigation then ‘Plans’.
  4. Scroll down and  choose the desired plan and then click on ‘ Select Plan’,Change Plan
  5. Select the billing cycle either ‘Monthly’ or ‘Yearly’ for your selected plan.
  6. Enter your Credit card details and Billing address and click on ‘Complete Upgrade’.Change Plan 2
  7. Now once you have completed the upgrade procedure, go to ‘Billing’> Plan’ on the left-hand navigation menu to check the details of your updated plan

 

 

 

How do I cancel my Office Chat account? (Updated)

We’ll be extremely sorry to see you go. However, if you would still like to delete your Office Chat account follow instructions here:

  1. Login to your Office Chat account from the web.
  2. Navigate to the admin portal then click on “Billing” -> “Invoice “
  3. Click on “Please cancel my account” please ensure you state the reason why you wish to cancel along with your feedback & suggestionscancel

 

Kindly note, once your account is cancelled all your domain data will be immediately and permanently deleted. If you have a paying account you won’t be charged again after your official cancellation date.

How do I change my billing contact information? (Updated)

To change your billing contact information:

  1. Use a web browser to log into your Office Chat domain.
  2. Navigate to the admin portal
  3. Click on the “Billing” from the left navigation then “Invoice Settings”.
  4. Change the details listed here then click “Save Settings”.

How can I download the Invoice for my Office Chat Account

To download the Invoice for Office Chat Account:

  1. Sign in to Office Chat on the Web then navigate to the Admin portal
  2. Click on “Billing” from the left-hand navigation and then on ‘Invoice Details.’
  3. Select the period for which you need to download the Invoice for from the drop-down menu and click on ‘Go.’
  4. Click on ‘Download Invoice’ to download the Invoice.

How to Change the Credit Card Information?

The credit card information can be changed by the Office Chat admin for your domain from the Admin Portal. To change your credit card information:

  1. Use a web browser to log into your Office Chat domain
  2. Navigate to the admin portal
  3. Click on the “Billing” from the left navigation then on the ‘Plan’ Tab.
  4. Here click on ‘Change Payment Information’ and update the new credit card details.
  5. Click “Save” to ensure that all your changes are stored.

How can I upgrade once my 7 day free Office Chat Trial is over?

How do I upgrade to Office Chat Startup/Business/Enterprise/ HIPAA BAA Plan?

To upgrade to Office Chat Startup/Business/Enterprise/ HIPAA BAA Plan:

  1. Sign up and create your account by entering your email address and filling out the other details from the Office Chat Sign Up page. You will receive an email post signup. Using the information in it, login to Office Chat and invite your colleagues.
  2. Once logged in, your domain will be on a 7-day enterprise trial where users can enjoy all privileges present in the highest plan (Enterprise plan) of Office Chat.
  3. Within the next 7 days, ask your domain admin to login to Office Chat on web browser and navigate to Admin Portal –> Billing. Here, the domain needs to select/change desired plan and payment time-frame (monthly/yearly),enter the valid credit card details and click on “Complete Upgrade” button. 4. Once the 7 days get completed, the domain will be billed as per the selected plan and payment time-frame.

 

In case, you don’t upgrade to Office Chat premium plans in 7 days, your domain will get suspended and you would not be able to use Office Chat. In order to reactivate the domain, the domain needs to login to Office Chat domain via Web browser and then he/she will be redirected to upgrade page. There, the domain admin needs to select the desired plan, enter credit card details and make the payment. The domain will get activated instantly.

What happens to my data if I cancel my plan?

Data in cancelled plans is permanently and irreversibly deleted from the server. Please make sure that you inquire about backing up your Office Chat data in case this capability is available at a later time.

Is there a long-term contract?

Office Chat has two subscription plans:

Monthly
You pay in advance per month and can cancel any time. Canceling in the middle of your monthly term does not incur a refund of any kind.
Yearly
You pay in advance for a year and can cancel any time. Canceling in the middle of your yearly term does not incur a refund of any kind.
